Anne
of Kiev or Anna Yaroslavna (between 1024 and 1032 – 1075), daughter of
Yaroslav I of Kiev, was the queen consort of France as the wife of
Henry I, and regent for her son Philip I during 7 years.As from 1059
and until the end of the XVIIIe century, the kings of France, while
reaching the throne lent oath on very old Évangéliaire ruthene, written
in writings Cyrillic and glagolitic. It is about Évangéliaire of
Rheims, one of the oldest documents of the literary language ruthene
(ukrainienne), now preserved at the National Library of Paris. It is
Anne, which brought this évangéliaire with it in France in 1049. The
name of Anne is related to the one of the most astonishing dynastic
enigmas of the French history and thus also of the history of Europe. |

Vladimirovna Tereshkova (born 6 March 1937), is a retired Soviet
cosmonaut and was the first woman to fly in space, aboard Vostok 6 on
16 June 1963.Tereshkova was born in Bolshoye Maslennikovo, a small
village in Yaroslavl.

is very proud of the fact it is the home of Russian theatre. In 1750
Feodor Volkov, a merchant’s son, having invested his funds, founded our
theatre.Feodor Volkov and his colleagues staged their first plays in a
tanning barn, a two-storied stone building by the riverside. The Volkov
Theatre’s repertoire included Shakespear’s tragedies, Moliere’s
comedies, and works by Russia’s first playwrights: Sumarokov and
Lomonosov. The Volkov Theatre asserted liberty, freedom and humanism. |

Mikhailovich Lyapunov (Russian Yaroslavl, November 30, 1859 - Paris,
November 8, 1924) was a Russian composer and pianist.Lyapunov enjoyed a
successful career as a pianist. He made several tours of Western
Europe, including one of Germany and Austria in 1910-1911. From 1904 he
also made appearances as a conductor, mounting the podium by invitation
in Berlin and Leipzig in 1907.
